Currently, the energy storage solutions from BYD are compatible with the two German inverter manufacturers Kostal and SMA.

The Japanese company Sony started shipping energy storage modules that use rechargeable lithium-ion batteries made with olivine-type lithium-ion iron phosphate as the cathode material. In 2021 SMART cs & FENECON start their new partnership with the introduction of the new all-in-one home storage solution from Fenecon, consisting of a 10 kWp 3-phase hybrid inverter with emergency power and solar charging option combined with a very smart and modular battery package with a capacity of 8.8 to 66 kWh. Intelligent self-consumption optimization for private households and small businesses.

The advantage: The proven and extremely powerful Fenecon Energy Management System (FEMS) developed in Germany, which has already been tested in large commercial and industrial solutions up to an output of 1 MW, can also be used for the new household version.
